MISCHIEF ANNOUNCES POT NOODLE AS NEW SOCIAL CLIENT… WELL SORT OF

Mischief is delighted to announce that it has been appointed social agency for Pot Noodle.

An appointment that comes as something of a surprise to both parties.

Mischief and Pot Noodle have a long history, having worked together many years ago. But despite the relationship officially coming to an end, one detail remains: Mischief's contact information still appears on Pot Noodle's Instagram account.

For the past five years, Mischief has politely asked for it to be removed. Those requests have gone unanswered.

The agency can therefore only assume that Pot Noodle isn't quite ready to let go.

Despite no formal appointment, Mischief continues to receive hundreds of messages from Pot Noodle fans and, being consummate professionals, has continued to engage with them.

Recent enquiries include Poppy, who asked: "Can you start making Pot Noodles with no peas please? I'm sick and tired of constantly picking them out and living in fear that there's a pea on my fork."

Charlotte Brooks, Managing Director at Mischief, said: "We understand that breakups are hard. Sometimes you need a bit of space. Sometimes you need five years. And sometimes you just can't bring yourself to delete your ex's number.

For more than five years, we've tried to gently suggest that Pot Noodle remove our contact details from its social channels. Instead, customers keep sliding into our DMs.

At this point, we've decided to stop pretending this isn't happening and make it official. Pot Noodle, we're declaring ourselves your social agency. You clearly haven't been able to let us go and, to be honest, we're rather flattered.

Mischief will continue providing unsolicited but well-intentioned support to Pot Noodle fans, while remaining available for any urgent noodle-related grievances, flavour requests and pea-related crises.

A spokesperson for Pot Noodle was unavailable for comment, presumably because they are still deciding what to do about Mischief's contact details.
