Strategy

Make all the invisible work of the green transformation, visible.

Idea

The ‘Clean Air’ campaign focused on highlighting increasing levels of air pollution in our towns and cities. The aim was to galvanise public attention and action around the issue, whilst showcasing E.ON’s efforts to combat the problem.


Work included installing a giant pair of lungs on the Southbank that measured air quality in real time, developing capes for school children to fight air pollution on the school run and working with national broadcasters to incorporate pollution reporting into weather forecasts.

Impact

Overall the campaign generated 1000s of pieces of positive media coverage across national, regional, consumer and broadcast titles. Furthermore, post campaign analysis revealed substantial shifts in brand image with positive perception of E.ON’s work in the green space increasing by 40%.
