E.ON NEXT

USING BRITAIN’S MOST TRUSTED PROFESSIONALS TO GIVE SOME HARD ENERGY ADVICE

Challenge

E.ON Next wanted to educate consumers on a variety of cost-saving tariffs and initiatives. Unfortunately, the ins and outs of solar panels, home electric vehicle chargers, and special tariffs requires a lot of understanding. It’s hard to get the message across when trust in energy providers is at an all-time low.

Strategy

Use the voices of people Brits trust the most – bartenders.

Idea

That’s right – we trust bartenders advice more than almost anyone else, even our closest friends.

To foster beneficial conversations about energy efficiency, we launched a new bar, Watts on the Rocks, to help the nation lower their energy bills.

Visitors were helped to better understand their energy options by the hotspot’s “tariff tenders,” who gave bespoke, artisan advice on tariffs and solutions that were perfect for each specific customer and their own home.
