JUST EAT
DELIVERING FAME FOR JUST EAT’S LATEST ‘DID SOMEBODY SAY’ CAMPAIGN
Challenge
Just Eat’s iconic ‘Did Somebody Say’ advert was launching its first ever UK ambassador, Garage and R&B legend, Craig David.
The campaign aims to celebrate the rich culture & diversity of UK restaurants and takeaways as a cornerstone of the community, in the aptly named banger ‘Every Neighbour Got Their Flava.’
Strategy
Make the magic of the brand campaign real for people.
Idea
We hosted an exclusive gig for members of the public inside a neighbourhood institution, Johnnies Cafe. Situated in Camberwell, the cafe is a local legend and has served the community for 50 years - tying perfectly into Just Eatʼs ambition to serve every side of the nation.
We announced the gig to listings media resulting in a queue of over 25,000 people eagerly trying to secure tickets which sold out in under 30 seconds.
Guests got the full gig experience in the most unexpected of settings, with a full set from Craig David and supporting DJs, whilst being treated to Johnnies famous menu of food and drinks.
